| Whistler - The Sea
to Sky Highway is about 100km (65 miles)
in length. Statistically this is a dangerous
highway. It is single lane with occasional
passing lanes with many cruves. You should give yourself extra
time to stop along the way and take in
the view.
Kelowna - The Coquihalla
Highway can be trecherous in the winter
due to the snow accumulations. There are
splendid views on clear days.
Victoria - If driving,
you must take the ferry from Tsawwassen (100 minute crossing and 30 minutes south of Vancouver). The ride
is very scenic as you pass through the
Southern Gulf Islands. |
