Merge left AVI with right AVI
 
Inside Vegas, create a new project. Bring the left AVI into one track and the right AVI into another track below or above, it doesn't matter. Also ensure that your audio track is in there too.
Note: you will see one video in the preview window.
Click on "Track Motion", this will bring you to the next step.
 
 
Within Track Motion you only need to do one thing for each of the Left and Right AVI's.
On this step, we will enter -512 (half of 1024) in the X axis.
 
 
Here you can see how the AVI has been moved to the left.
 
 
Here is the entry for the other track, we are moving it +512 (again half of 1024) to the right. If we were using different resolutions, these numbers would need to be changed. 1280 would be 640 instead of 512 and 1600 would be 800 instead of 512.
 
Here is how the two tracks, offset by +512 and -512 pixels looks like in the preview window now. You have 2 AVI's, the right and left stream directly next to each other.
